THE LADIES AUXILIARY

The Ladies Auxiliary of the Calabash Elks’ mission is to work collaboratively with the Elks in promoting integrity, and respect, while providing the emotional, spiritual, and financial support when called upon.

 

We support the Elks Lodge in their endeavors and support charities that promote community welfare and assist those in need. We achieve our mission by hosting many fundraisers throughout the year. Some of our annual fundraisers are card parties, raffles, and a Holiday Bazaar which is hosted by past Presidents of the Ladies Auxiliary.

 

The proceeds from our fundraisers feed needy families with holiday baskets at Thanksgiving and Christmas. We also support many local community programs within Brunswick County.  We support the poor, the homeless, our local veterans, and our senior citizens. We also contribute donations to various organizations such as  “Hope Harbor,” “Hospice”,   and our own Calabash Elks. Also, We support the "Veterans Resource Center" by sponsoring 2 veterans for the year in whatever their needs to get on their feet. (Gas cards, books for school and furniture).

 

In our mission to support the Elks, we raise funds to purchase equipment, and provide for renovations to the lodge, when needed. We participate and assist the Elks with weekly and monthly events.
